ISLAMABAD, Sept 7: In addition to strong and sustainable Sino-Pakistan relations at the government level, a new vista of fraternal political relation is opening up between them which will bring the two great nations closer , promoting better understanding of each other's problems and political stand.

This was stated by PML Secretary-General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed at the PML Media Centre here on Tuesday on his return from Beijing after attending the third international conference of Asian political parties.

He said 82 Asian political parties were represented at the conference by 300 delegates. A 15-member standing committee was formulated on the occasion which included Mr Mushahid Hussain.

A significant fact of the conference was that though China is a single-party country, it had not only invited delegates from the ruling parties from the Asian countries but also given representation to the opposition parties, he added.

He said his delegation had offered to host the next international conference in Pakistan in 2006. India, Iran and South Korea had already made the offer; however, our syllogism was that Pakistan geographically commanded a central position and the centenary of the PML would also be celebrated in the same year.
