LAHORE, Sept 6: The PML-N on Monday observed the Defence of Pakistan Day with a big public meeting at Jallo and renewing the pledge to offer any sacrifice for the integrity of the country.

Party leaders, Sirdar Zulfikar Ali Khan Khosa and Khwaja Saad Rafiq in particular, visited the graves of the martyrs of the 1965 war and laid floral wreaths. They also offered fateha.

The PML-N leaders criticized the heaviest ever federal government set up by prime minister who they alleged did not have Pakistani citizenship until recently. The participants in the public meeting also raised slogans in favour of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif.
