LAHORE, Aug 24: A 84-member delegation of Indian politicians, former army officers, bureaucrats, peace and rights activists, ex-judges and others will arrive via Wagah on Thursday to attend the Urs of Bulleh Shah in Kasur the next morning.

The delegation will be headed by Delhi's Chief Minister Sheela Dixit and former member parliament Nirmala Deshpanday. The Indian visitors have been invited by PPP MNA Chaudhry Manzoor for participating in the Urs of Bulleh Shah, peace activist Shahtaj Qizalbash said.

Besides attending the Urs, the delegates are expected to call on senior government officials during their stay in Pakistan as well as attend a number of receptions being hosted in their honour by the Pak-India People's Forum for Peace and Democracy and the Joint Action Committee for People's Rights.
