Blast kills one in Turkey

ISTANBUL, Aug 23: An explosion rocked Turkey's Mediterranean resort city of Antalya on Monday, killing one person and injuring at least another, the state-run Anatolian news agency said.

It was not immediately clear what caused the blast which occurred in Antalya's harbour area around 2pm (0400pm PST), the agency said.

A teenager was killed in the explosion, while a 14-year-old Turkish boy who was injured was being treated at a local hospital, Anatolian said. -Reuters
