Mansoor beaten in first round

KARACHI, Aug 13: Pakistan No 1 squash player Mansoor Zaman failed in the first round of English Open squash championship in Sheffield as Lee Beachill beat him in a 43 minute.

According to the details, Pakistan's sole entry into the main round Mansoor went down 15-7, 15-11, 15-11. Beachell will play against Adrian Grant and his club colleague James Will strop. The world junior champion, defeated Scott Handley to 5-6 15-10 15-13 to meet John White of Scotland, the defending champion.
