KARACHI, Aug 9: The process of admissions to city colleges and higher secondary schools will now begin on Aug 13, with the sale of prospectus and placement forms.

A senior education official in the city government said that the arrangements pertaining to the admissions were reviewed at a meeting of the Centralized Admission Committee on Monday, which decided that the commencement of the admission process be delayed for two days for some technical reasons.

Earlier, the committee had announced to start the admissions from Aug 11. A source in the city government's education department attributed the decision to delay in provision of prospectus and forms by the concerned printing press, which were to be handed over further to 40 designated branches of the Habib Bank for sale.
