KARACHI, Aug 4: Commissioner Sindh Employees' Social Security Institution (SESSI) Gul Mohammad Rind has called for uninterrupted availability of medicines to patients.

He issued the directive while visiting the Social Security Landhi Hospital here on Tuesday.

He ordered that hospital's casualty department be made centrally air-conditioned. He urged the doctors and other hospital staff to facilitate workers of Landhi and Korangi Industrial areas in a better manner.

Mr Rind said that Sindh labour minister, Adil Siddiqui, has issued instructions for upgradation of medical care facilities at social security hospitals. The Commissioner of SESSI directed the hospital administration to white-wash all wards and departments, including OPDs and operation theatre and arrange curtains and iron grills for wards.

He informed that new ambulances would be provided to the hospital from the Sindh Workers Welfare Board. He asked the authorities to arrange toys for children at the hospital. - APP
