ISLAMABAD, Aug 2: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has formed committees at Tehsil level in the Punjab to expose corruption in the local government system and other offices.

The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting held here on Monday at the PPP central secretariat, says a press release. The PPP provincial secretary information, Naveed Chaudhry, presided over the meeting.

The Rawalpindi district secretary information, Haji Saleem Mughal, was elected the president of the district anti-corruption committee (Rawalpindi), while, secretary information Rawalpindi city, Nasir Mir, became the head of the committee at the Tehsil level.

The committee would bring references against the corrupt elements before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) with all necessary evidence, the press release stated.
