NAIROBI, July 30: Kenyan cricket coach Andy Moles has included veteran Maurice Odumbe in the squad to play the opening three-dayer against Pakistan 'A' at the Nairobi's Simba Union club on Saturday.

Odumbe is currently the subject of an International Cricket Council (ICC) tribunal hearing into allegations of receiving money from a Indian bookmaker. "He will definitely play for us this weekend," Moles said at the team's training ground.

Despite the distraction of his case, Odumbe played a pivotal role in Kenya's victory over Uganda in the ICC Intercontinental Cup last Sunday, taking three wickets on the final day of the three-day game. Moles said he expected tough opposition from the Pakistani team led by Test batsman Misbahul Haq. -AFP
