ISLAMABAD, July 29: The Chief Election Commission of Pakistan has notified a programme for the revision of electoral rolls as laid down in CEC's Order No. 1 of 2004 issued on July 1, 2004,

Existing electoral rolls will be displayed on Aug 9, 2004. Claims, objections and applications for corrections in the electoral rolls could be filed between Aug 10-31.

The claims, objection and applications for correction will be disposed of between Sept 1-21. Last date for filing of representations with the revising authorities is Oct 6, while representations will be disposed of on Oct 21.

Decision of registration officers and revising authorities will be incorporated on Oct 31, and final publication of the revised electoral rolls would be held on Nov 6. -PPI
