QUETTA, July 28: Opposition leader in the provincial assembly, Kachkol Ali Baloch has asked the government to stop the search operation in Turbat immediately and alleged that security forces were harassing the populace and demanded that all arrested political activists should be released.

Speaking at a press conference in the Assembly chamber on Wednesday, he said that the government should have taken the Balochistan Assembly members into confidence prior to launching the search operation in the Makran coastal areas.

Kachkol Ali Baloch who has an affiliation with the National Party claimed that the establishment of check posts in the mountains of Dera Bugti, Makran and Mastung areas clearly indicates that the government wants to resolve issues through use of force, instead of political dialogue.

Haji Juma Khan Bugti, the parliamentary leader of the JWP, MPA Akhtar Hussain Langoo of Balochistan National Party-M and MPA Naseem Turyala of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party were present on this occasion.

He accused the government of creating political problems in the province by taking such steps that was against the constitutional and lawful rights of the citizens and that the government's provocative policies would worsen the situation, which would not be in the interest of the government.
