MIRPURKHAS, July 23: Pakistan People's Party has claimed that no coercive act can make its workers change their loyalties towards the party in Tharparkar where by-election is being held next month.

Talking to newsmen on Friday in Majaakar, Tharparkar district, PPP leader and member of the National Assembly Nawab Yousuf Talpur alleged that officials in Tharparkar district were coercing the PPP workers.

They were being pursued, and every method was being used to make them withdraw their support to the party, he said. The case of Faqir Sher Mohammed Bilalani, who was being forced to join the ruling party, was a case in point, he claimed.

Mr Talpur, who is also a member of the Central Working Committee of the PPP, said his party would give a tough fight to Shaukat Aziz. He said the party would begin the election campaign on Sunday.
