LAHORE, May 22: A division bench of the Lahore High Court admitted an intra-court appeal challenging the National Accountability Bureau’s power to investigate a civil dispute between two private parties pending before a court of law.
The power was upheld by Justice Nasim Sikandar while dismissing a writ petition filed by a travel agency against a NAB probe into its dispute with an airline.
Admitting the appeal, the bench comprising Justices Jawad S. Khwaja and Abdul Shakoor Paracha ordered that a notice be issued to the bureau.
