KARACHI, July 19: Chief Secretary Muhammad Aslam Sanjrani has sought details on the steps taken so far on a housing scheme, "House for All", and set principles for suggestions and recommendations for effective implementation in this regard.

In a high-level meeting, held to review the scheme, the chief secretary sought the details from additional chief secretary (local government), provincial secretary (general administration and coordination), and member of revenue board (land utilization).

Aslam Sanjrani directed the local government secretary to visit Punjab, collect information and prepare recommendations for land identification and the formation of a housing foundation so that the same could be presented to the chief minister within 10 days.

The secretary was also directed to draft steps taken in coordination with the federal government and other departments concerned. The participation of nazims and district coordination officers should also be ensured for bringing the mentioned schemes on board, he added. -PPI
