LAHORE, July 15: The Punjab Municipal Services Improvement Project meant for the rehabilitation and strengthening of institutional services of tehsil/town municipal administrations is in the pipeline and will be launched shortly.

The Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company, an apex municipal development institution, is engaged in a consultative process with the TMAs to formulate the recommendations for the project.

Tehsil Nazim Mubashar Ahmad Cheema, Jaranwala Tehsil Nazim Abdul Rehman Rana, Kasur Tehsil Nazim Malik Rashid Ahmed Khan, Safdarabad Tehsil Nazim Ghulam Mohammad Goraya, Dunyapur Tehsil Nazim Mian Mohammad Shafiq Araian, Chishtian Tehsil Nazim Malik Abdul Ghaffar Awan, TMOs and TOs of Lahore and Sheikhupura have attended two workshops organized by the PMDFC here during the past three days and gave their recommendations to this effect. More workshops will be held for the purpose in the near future.
