Lara warms up with century

ARUNDEL, July 13: West Indies captain Brian Lara cruised into form ahead of the forthcoming Test series against England with a blistering 89-ball century on the opening day of the tourists' match against the MCC on Tuesday.

Lara, with the first of four Tests against England starting at Lord's in nine days' time, made an unbeaten 113 from 103 deliveries before retiring ill at tea.
