Fitness tests

LAHORE, June 30: Except for Mohammad Sami and Danish Kaneria, the remaining 23 probables went through the fitness level tests conducted by Pakistan's new trainer Murray Stevenson at the National Cricket Academy here on Wednesday.

The tests were held in two sessions of almost three-and-a-half hours each. Inthe afternoon session, senior players like Inzamamul Haq, Yousuf Youhana, Moin Khan and Younis Khan appeared.

Stevenson later said that he conducted the tests to assess the real strength and weaknesses of the players and added that a complete report about it will be issued in the next couple of days.

He said that, Sami and Kaneria, who are likely to appear for thetest on Thursday, were asked to take proper rest since both had just arrived from London the other day.
