All-round display by Shaharyar

KARACHI, June 18: Zone-IV Whites defeated Zone-V Whites by three wickets due to good batting by Shaharyar Zafar (82) to reach quarterfinals of the Under-15 Inter-zonal Tournament on Thursday at Pak Star Ground.

Zone-V Whites also reach quarter final after securing second position in Group "D". Later Shaharyar was declared Man-of-the-Match. At NBP Sports Complex Zone-III Whites moved into quarterfinal after beating Zone-VII Whites by five wickets thanks to deadly bowling by 13-year old Shahzaib Ahmed Khan who captured six wickets for 36 runs in 17 overs and fine batting by Rameez Panjara 62 with six fours.

Zone-VII Whites also advanced to last eight due to second position in Group "C". In the last match of Group league matches Zone-II Whites beat Zone-VI Whites by seven wickets at Student Ground and moved into quarterfinal.
