Maqsud elected president

ISLAMABAD, May 21: Maqsud ul Hassan was Tuesday elected president of the Federal Area Islamabad Amateur Athletics Association in elections held in line with the new sports policy.

Other office-bearers elected were: Lt. Col (Retd) Hanif Malik (Sr. vice president), Abdul Ghaffar, Dr. Tayyaba Siddique, Mohammad Habib Khattak, Nazir Shaheen (vice presidents), M. Rafiq (secretary general), Ijlal Hussain Shah (joint secretary), Riaz Siddique (treasurer).

Executive members: Saeed Shaikh, Javed Mohsin Malik, Mrs Tazeen Muzaffar, Abdul rehman Maimen, Mohammad Ahmed, Shamim Mumtaz, Marfat Hussain Shah, Khalid Malik, Soofi Haroon, Kamran Ahmed, Mrs. Musawari Siddique, AD Kamal, Nazir Shaheen, Marwat Hussain Shah and Abdul Jalal.
