Two-day regional ties in July

LAHORE, June 15: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to organise two-day matches among all the nine regional academy teams as part of the training process.

Each team will bat for 90 overs. Earlier, one-day matches were planned but the PCB decided that the young cricketers would be able to concentrate and polish their skills more in a longer version of the game.

Schedule:

July 5-6: Faisalabad v Lahore (Faisalabad).

July 6-7: Karachi v Hyderabad (Karachi); Multan v Quetta (Multan); Rawalpindi v Abbotabad (Rawalpindi).

July 8-9: Lahore v Sialkot (Muridke).
