KARACHI, June 13: The police on Sunday morning found the body of a young man from a park in Korangi Industrial Area. The body of Muhammad Islam, 19, was found from Javed Shaikh Park in KIA.

The victim had stab wounds all over his body. Police said that according to the deceased's father, Muhammad Islam was a drug addict who used to work at a local factory. He resided at Burmese Colony, Korangi. His body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for post-mortem examination.

In a similar incident, a middle-aged man was stabbed to death by unknown persons at KPT ground, Keamari. olice said Naeem Khan, 40, was killed using some blunt weapon. He was a former member of a law enforcement agency, and was presently working as a labourer at KPT, police added. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital for autopsy examination.

KILLED: A 32-year-old man was killed by unknown persons in Gaddap early Sunday morning. Police said Zargul Khan, 32, had married a girl of his choice. But a local jirga directed him to pay the girl's father Rs200,000 to legalise the marriage.

Zargul Khan complied with the jirga's directives, and paid the amount to the girl's father. It was early Sunday morning that three persons shot the victim at his house and fled away.

SUICIDE: A drug addict, Rahim, committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in North Nazimabad on Sunday. Rahim was identified by the area people, police said. His family had left the area to escape bad reputation. Police said the victim was a vagabond, and used to live on streets taking drugs. Police shifted the body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem examination.

ACCIDENT: An unknown man died in a road accident on Super Highway in the limits of Gaddap police station. Police said the accident occurred during the night, and several vehicles had run over the body crushing it badly. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital to complete legal formalities.
