PM condoles Reagan's death

ISLAMABAD, June 6: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of former American president Ronald Reagan.

In his condolence message to Mrs Nancy Reagan, he said, "I would like to express, on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, our sincerest condolences to you and the American people at the sad demise of President Reagan.

''President Reagan will be remembered as a sincere friend of Pakistan and a great American leader. His commitment and contribution to world peace and freedom has secured him an enduring place in history. ''Our sympathies and prayers are with you at this moment of great personal loss." -APP
