KARACHI, May 31: All the 28 teenagers reported for training and coaching on the opening day of fourth edition of the PCB Karachi Regional Academy on Monday.

The academy programme which is held every year during summer vacation will continue till July 16.

Two former Test players, opening batsman Sadiq Mohammad and pace bowler Rashid Khan are in-charge of the academy. Rashid said that training programme in the academy starts from 6.00am with stretching, warm-up, training and running followed by video analysis, lectures on English and various aspects of the game.

Ground training nets, batting, bowling and fielding practice are the part of afternoon training. Rashid, who is supervising third academy programme said, two-day 90 overs match will be played on Friday and Saturday.
