KARACHI, May 24: President, Pakistan Muslim League, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, has said maintenance of party discipline was his top most priority, and that no indiscipline in this regard will be tolerated.

Chaudhry Shujaat, in a statement released from PML House on Monday, urged the party activists to renew their commitment to the party and work hard for making it a strong political force.

The PML was the party which upheld political and democratic values and norms, and all its matters were being run through consultation and already defined procedures, he added, advising the activists to be prepared to face all challenges and avoid adopting any un-democratic way.

He noted that positive criticism and difference of opinion was essential for a strong democracy, adding that he had learnt a lot from others' criticism and reformed himself. He called upon the workers to promote culture of tolerance and forge unity among their ranks. -APP
