KARACHI, May 23: A watchman was stabbed to death by unknown persons in Saddar on Sunday, police officials said. They said that the body of Abdul Hameed, 50, was found on the second floor of the Saddar Centre.

The deceased's body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for postmortem examination. Police cited the possibility of personal enmity as a motive behind the killing.

KILLED: Unidentified persons killed a eunuch in Sharifabad on Sunday. Police said that the nude body of the victim was found near the Shaheed Chowk in front of Javed Tank house. His identity could not be established as his killers had crushed his head with a blunt object. The deceased's body also bore torture marks, police added. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem examination.

An FIR in this connection was lodged at the Sharifabad police station on behalf on the state. A clash over the setting up of a stall left a young man dead and his brother injured in Korangi late Saturday night.

Police said that Talib Husain and Sabir Husain clashed with some stake holders over the setting up of the stall in Zia Colony. Both brothers were shot at by their opponents.

Talib was killed on the spot while Sabir was injured in the incident. Police said that the attacker fled from the crime scene after the clash.
