MANSEHRA, May 18: The Mansehra tehsil council on Tuesday adopted a unanimous resolution asking the provincial government to transfer the tehsil municipal administrator.

Speaking on the resolution, a number of councillors supported the resolution which was read by woman councillor Gulshan Bibi.

They alleged that the TMO always ridiculed the nazims and did not perform his duties well. They also said that the TMO never came to the office before 2pm. The session was presided over by council convener Ejaz Akhtar Khan.

They also alleged that the TMO worked against the interests of the elected representatives and the local government. Some councillors also walked out of the session in protest against the behaviour of the TMO. Later, they were brought back to the session by the convener.

Speaking on the occasion, tehsil nazim Nawabzada Mohammad Farooq Khan said that he would try his best to get the resolution implemented by the provincial government.
