They appealed to the president, prime minister, Sindh governor, chief minister, provincial minister for irrigation and the Sida chairman to take notice of the excesses of the MNA and provide them with justice.

DEMO: The All Pakistan Clerks Association, Hyderabad chapter, took out a procession and held a demonstration outside the press club here on Thursday, demanding acceptance of their demands.

Their demands include 100 per cent increase in salary of grade-1 to 16 government employees in the next budget, award of house rent in accordance with the new pay scale and a grant of Rs500 per month as conveyance allowance.

District Apca president Ashraf Bozai made it clear that clerks were not politically motivated and they were struggling for their rights to save their families from starvation.
