SHIKARPUR, May 20: The local JUI leaders have threatened to launch a protest movement against the deteriorating law and order situation in Shikarpur District.

Maulana Abdullah Pahore (district chief), Maulana Abdul Bari (district general secretary), Haji Nisar Ahmed Memon (Naib Ameer) and other leaders of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam while addressing a press conference at the local press club on Monday expressed deep concern over the rising crime rate.

They accused the police, Waderas, and chiefs of the district for creating a law and order problem.

They said that the JUI would launch an anti-crime campaign from Friday while taking out protest rallies and observing hunger strike till the restoration of peace in the district.
