LAHORE, May 11: Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) has been refused share of gate money from the international matches played at the Qadhafi Stadium last season.
Aamir Hayat Rokri, the LCCA president, claimed on Tuesday that his association had signed an MoU with the PCB in this respect, and added that the LCCA had every right to have a share of the income generated from gate money for the home series matches against Bangladesh, South Africa, New Zealand and India.
But Rokri said that the LCCA received a letter from the PCB which said: "The board regrets to inform that your request cannot be acceded to as there was no such agreement/understanding between the LCCA and the PCB regarding any share of income from the series mentioned in your letters and at the same time, there was no input from the LCCA for the organisation of these matches."
