HYDERABAD, March 24: The Sindh Anti-TB Association, Pakistan Senior Citizens Association and other social welfare organizations staged a walk from the Gymkhana club to the press club here on Wednesday to mark the World TB Day.

EDO community development Ibrahim Qureshi, Dr Noor Memon, Sofia Rafique, Dr Samad Shaikh, Iqtedar Chaudhry, Dr Agha Tariq spoke on the occasion. They said although TB was a dangerous disease but it was curable.

They said all those people who were engaged in the prevention and cure of the disease were in fact waging a Jihad. They demanded that the government should include a chapter on TB in the school text books.

PAF RECRUITMENT: The Pakistan Air Force Information and Selection Centre has invited applications for the posts of instructors in English, mathematics and physics subjects by March 27.

The unmarried candidates aged between 22 to 28 years with BA/B.Sc degree in 2nd division, at least 45 per cent marks in the concerned subject are eligible to apply.

Preference will be given to candidates having qualification of M.A/M.Sc in concerned subject with computer knowledge. The candidates have been advised to contact the PAF Information and Selection Centre.
