VEHARI, March 23: Six people were killed in separate incidents in Mailsi and Khairpur Tamianwali during the last 24 hours. Four labourers - Zulfiqar, Rab Nawaz, Zahoor and Bashir - were working on a well in Mauza Qutabpur Wagi when its wall collapsed. Zulfiqar, Rab Nawaz and Bashir died on the spot.

In the second incident, three members of a family were killed in a road accident on the GT Road. Amin of Chak 24-WB was going along with his wife, Faizan Bibi, and two-year-old son on a bicycle when a bus hit them near the octroi post, killing them instantly.

Eight people were injured when a bus collided with a truck near Tibba Sultanpur on Multan Road. Five passengers namely Naeem, Mukhtar, Tanvir, Allah Rakha and Ahmad were admitted to a local hospital, while Akhtar, Nazir and Moulazim were referred to the Nishtar Hospital, Multan, due to serious condition.
