GUJRAT, March 22: A wagon crushed a minor boy and injured another on Kotla-Charriawala road near Mian Chohan village on Monday.
The boys were reportedly playing on the road when the accident took place. Junaid died instantly while Aurangzeb sustained critical injuries and was admitted to hospital.
IMPERSONATOR HELD: The district administration has conducted a raid at an examination centre in Jalalpur Sobatian and arrested an impersonator on Monday. A police contingent raided the centre and arrested Mohammad Boota who was attempting paper in place of Shamraiz Akhtar Bhooch roll number 236500.
Shamraiz is a nephew of former MPA Sarwar Bhooch and a condemned prisoner and is currently in the Gujrat jail. The raiding team arrested another candidate Zafar Iqbal on the charges of cheating at gunpoint.
