LAHORE, March 11: India's bowling limitations wereexposed on Thursday when they failed to defend an imposing total of 335 against a Pakistan's second string in the warm-up one-day game at the Qadhafi Stadium.

Tauqir Umar, captaining Pakistan 'A' in this match, led by example with a magnificent century to guide his side to a crushing six-wicket victory with 24 balls to spare.

Taufiq, not named in the 16-man squad for the first two One-day Internationals, struck 13 boundaries in making 104 off only 89 balls. He put on 127 in only 51 minutes with Imran Nazir who blasted 65 off just 32 deliveries, striking four sixes and nine fours before losing his middle stump to Zaheer Khan.

Taufiq then put on 96 for the second wicket with Naumanullah (35) as Pakistan 'A' raced to 220 for two the 23rd over. The left-handed opener was caught behind by Parthiv Patel. Bazid Khan was unlucky to be given out for two after TV replays suggested that the ball had not touched his bat on its way to Patel.

But Faisal Iqbal, who made 50 off 65 balls, and Qaiser Abbas (38) plundered 78 for the unbroken fifth-wicket. Earlier, India also got off to a fine start after being invited to bat first. Sachin Tendulkar (76) and Virender Sehwag (75) put on an opening stand of 149 in 98 minutes before fell to Qaiser's slow left-arm spin.

Sehwag faced 68 deliveries and smashed 13 fours andone six. Tendulkar slammed 11 fours in 82-ball knock. Indian captain Saurav Ganguly scored just five, but his deputy Rahul Dravid, however, remained unbeaten with 92 off 70 ball with the help of 13 fours and one six.
