MIRPURKHAS, March 8: Nawab Mohammad Yousuf Talpur, PPP MNA, has condemned the murder of PPP MPA Abdullah Murad. He said Karachi police has overcrowded the Malir lock-ups with protesting PPP workers instead of laying hands of the killers, he said in statement on Monday.

He said Mr Murad's murder had exposed the negative approach that the government was keeping against the popular liberal forces including and elected representatives. "It is another cruel act on the part of regime to refuse to lodge the FIR against the killers who are being protected alike national assets," Mr Talpur said.

He said country's liberal forces had seen the murder of Mr Murad as a direct threat to them by a regime which had been playing a game with the Western forces by infusing fundamental forces and threatening liberal powers.
