KARACHI, March 8: To protest over the killing of Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Abdullah Murad, the party announced that it would observe protest day throughout Sindh on March 10.

A spokesman said that sit-ins and other known mode of protest would be adopted all over the province in connection with the protest day. Protest demonstrations have been planned in front of the Sindh Assembly building on March 10 against the MPA's killing, deteriorating law and order and inefficiency of the provincial government.

Taj Haider, PPP's central information secretary, deplored the government attitude and warned that if similar acts were repeated, then the whole Sindh would reverberate with protest.

He also condemned terrorists' attack on the PPP activists and killing of a PPP activist in Lyari area, when he was protesting against assassination of Abdullah Murad.
