HYDERABAD, March 8: People's Party Parliamentarians activists continued their protests on Monday against the killing of party MPA Abdullah Murad Baloch. A large number of PPP activists held a demonstration outside the press club to protest against the murder.

They raised slogans against the Sindh government and the killers. Speaking on the occasion, PPP MPA Zahid Ali Bhurgari, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Afzal Gujjar and others said that the terrorists were a part of the Sindh government.

They termed the murder of Mr Murad a target killing by the terrorists and warned that if the assassins were not arrested, consequences would be disastrous.

They said that the Sindh government had failed to protect life and property of the people. They said that they would never forgive the killers of Mr Baloch, held the Sindh government responsible for the murder and asked it to resign.

Awami Tehrik: The central executive committee of the Awami Tehrik at its meeting here on Sunday condemned the murder of People's Party Parliamentarians MPA Abdullah Murad Baloch in Karachi and demanded that an independent judicial inquiry should be held into the incident.

The party leader Rasool Bux Palijo presided over the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, he said a conspiracy was afoot to enslave Sindh by taking over all its resources, including the Indus waters.
