LAHORE, March 8: The practice match between Indian and Pakistani 'A' cricket teams to be held at the Qadhafi Stadium on March 11 will be treated as the full-dress rehearsal of the entire Indian senior team's tour of Pakistan.

The Indian team is touring Pakistan from March 10 to April 17 to play five One-day International and three Tests. Meanwhile, the PCB has allowed entry of the public for the practice match on a Rs75 ticket to review the arrangements for the series. The tickets will be available at the National Cricket Academy, adjacent to the Qadhafi Stadium.

There will be around 2,300 policemen in and outside the stadium to maintain the law and order situation. The security agencies will take control of the stadium on March 10 at 9am.

The local administration, in the meantime, removed the juice sellers and other encroachments in the area on Monday. The PCB, after a bitter experience of selling tickets through a private company in Karachi for the first One-day match, decided to hire the services of a foreign bank to sell tickets of Rs100 denomination through its branches for the fourth and fifth matches to be held at Lahore on March 21 and 24.

The high value tickets will be available at the Qadhafi Stadium's booths. The sale of tickets will start on March 17. The Indian team will arrive here by a chartered plane on March 10 afternoon. Four bullet-proof buses have been placed at the disposal of security agencies for the movement of Pakistan and Indian teams.
