ISLAMABAD, May 18: Pakistan Muslim League (Junejo) President Chaudhry Hamid Nasir Chattha on Friday called upon President Gen Pervez Musharraf to take all the political parties into confidence with a view to preparing the nation to take unanimous stand to face the enemy.

In a statement, he said India had been hurling threats to Pakistan under various subterfuges. He said the threats indicated that the leadership of India might have some misunderstanding about the unity of the nation.

He said Pakistanis were united and whenever India desired, it might test the mettle of the nation.

Chattha said India had been making such threats to defame Pakistan and divert the attention of the world from the anti-Muslim disturbances in Gujarat He said the nation would not cease to lend moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir under any pressure or fear and Pakistan would pay whatever cost it had to bear for the liberation of Kashmir.
