ISLAMABAD, May 18: All the young Pakistanis who have attained the age of 18 and their names have not been included in the voters list have been given a last chance by the Election Commission to get them enrolled by June 1, 2002.
The Election Commission which met here on Saturday fixed June 1, 2002 as the last date of entertaining claims, objections and applications on electoral rolls by all the young voters who turned 18 on January 2001.
Millions of young Pakistanis have recently got the right of franchise following an insertion in the electoral rolls bringing the voting age down from 21 years to 18.
