SHIKARPUR, March 4: Zila Nazim Shikarpur Muhammad Arif Khan Mahar, has called upon Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to order an inquiry into the irregularities committed by the selection committee of PCB.

In a letter addressed to the chairman PCB, the Zila Nazim complained that the best players of Shikarpur district including Nasrullah Memon and Ghulam Yasin had not been selected for the Hyderabad Region team.

He stated that Nasrullah had scored 250 plus runs and claimed 13 wickets in PCB's senior Inter-district cricket tournament 2003-2004. Likewise, he said, Ghulam Yasin, who had demonstrated commendable performance in Inter-district tournament U-19 2003-2004 organised by the board was ignored.

He pointed out that they were not even given a chance to appear in trials recently held by selection committee. He said that PCB chief should order an inquiry in the interest of justice and fair play.
