SA recalls Terbrugge

Published March 2, 2004

DURBAN, March 1: David Terbrugge will fly to New Zealand on Tuesday as cover for the injured Shaun Pollock, the United Cricket Board (UCB) said on Monday.

Pollock sustained a groin injury on South Africa's tour to New Zealand, which still has the sixth and final one-day international and a three test series to be played.

"He (Terbrugge) will also serve as an extra bowler who will provide depth," selection convenor Omar Henry said in a UCB media release. "There will be a tremendous workload on the bowlers, since three back-to-back Test matches will be played." -Reuters
