KOLKATA, March 1: Former India captain Kapil Dev will accept a new role of coaching his country's fast bowlers starting with a training camp before the national side leave for Pakistan next week.
BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya said on Monday that Kapil, who took an Indian record 434 Test wickets, would train and monitor fast bowlers in the national team and at the domestic level. "We had sought Kapil's consent and he is ready," Dalmiya said. -Reuters
