ISLAMABAD, Feb 25: French Foreign Minister Dr Dominique de Villepin, would be arriving here on Saturday on a day's visit, described as "very significant" by the foreign office.

Accompanied by an eight-member delegation, Dr Villepin would hold detailed discussions with his Pakistani counterpart on international and regional issues of mutual interest and bilateral matters, a press release of the foreign office said.

He would also call on the president and the prime minister. Mr Villepin visited Pakistan earlier in August 2002 with a view to diffusing Pakistan-India tensions.
