MUMBAI, Feb 19: Teenage paceman Irfan Pathan on Thursday said he was working hard to make his yorkers "more accurate and potent" to become successful during upcoming series in Pakistan.
"The conditions in Australia and Pakistan are different. Now I am building up my strength and working on line and length. I am also concentrating on my yorkers to be more effective," he said.
"I am aware of abilities of Pakistan batsmen on their home soil. So I am concentrating hard on how to take their wickets without allowing them to score runs," the 19-year-old bowler added.
To achieve this, Pathan said he would be taking help of legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev and former Australian great Dennis Lillee. "I would consult senior players like Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaekwad, Kris Shrikanth and several others who have played in Pakistan," he said. He claimed Australian trip, which was a learning experience for him, gave a big boost to his confidence. -PPI
