Peshawar defeat Lahore in cup tie

LAHORE, Feb 15: A fine unbeaten knock of 73 byAftab Khan guided Peshawar to a four-wicket victory over Lahore in the Quaid-i-Azam One-day Cup match at the Sheikhupura Stadium on Sunday.

Peshawar reached their target of 183 in 45.5 overs with Aftab striking seven boundaries in his 111-ball innings. Former Test off-spinner Arshad Khan earlier bowled economically as Lahore were dismissed for a paltry 182 in 49.2 overs.

Arshad finished three for 24 while paceman Sajid Shah picked up three for 50.
