LAHORE, May 17: All the constituent parties of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal will participate in the All Parties Conference being convened by Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan on Sunday.

JI naib amir Liaqat Baloch made the announcement at a press conference here on Friday.

He said the MMA would be represented at the APC either by its leaders or their representatives. MMA also supported All Parties Khatam-i-Nabbuwat Conference being convened by Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

He said matters related to the organization, central council, parliamentary board and collective programme would be finalized at a meeting of MMA party heads on June 8.

He descried the political alliance formed at the behest of the government as unnatural.

He condemned the arrest of Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and denied any contact with the PPP in connection with an electoral alliance. He, however, did not rule out the possibility of adjustments with the PPP candidates on seat to seat basis. — Reporter
