HYDERABAD, Jan 29: An alliance of those religio-political parties, which have parted ways with the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, is on the anvil. This was stated by a provincial leader of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Sami), Sahibzada Hifzur Rehman Shams, in a statement issued here on Thursday.
He criticised the MMA-government accord, saying that it was a flagrant violation of the MMA's manifesto and had led to distorting the Constitution of 1973.
He said that the attitude of the two component parties of the MMA towards their allies was dictatorial and they had violated the alliance's manifesto. He said that those parties, which have for all practical purposes dissociated themselves from the MMA, had their separate entities and they were in a position to form their own alliance.
