PESHAWAR, Jan 29: A site has been selected for the Shelman Water Supply Scheme. The scheme would be completed at a cost os Rs310 million and it will bring to an end acute water shortage in Landikotal.

The site selection was made after a presentation made to the NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah at the Governor's House here on Thursday.

Mohammad Khalid, the project consultant, made the presentation and screened video tapes of five different locations, proposed for the construction of the water supply scheme. One of the places situated near Shelman Banda was selected.
