KARACHI, Jan 28: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will operate 46 extra flights from January 24, to accommodate the growing rush of people wanting to celebrate Eidul Azha with their families, PIA announced on Wednesday.

These flights will continue till February 1. According to a PIA spokesman, these extra sections will operate from Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Dammam, Muscat, Al-Ain, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Jeddah, Bahrain, Paris, Oslo, Amsterdam and Frankfurt as foreign destinations.

At home, PIA will operate extra sections from Karachi to Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Peshawar and also special flights would emanate from these stations.

At different foreign and domestic stations, PIA has arranged widebody aircraft, instead of aircraft with less capacity, to carry the maximum load of passengers. PIA will use Boeing 747 and Airbus A-300 aircraft to ensure that the maximum rush of people is cleared.-APP
