HYDERABAD, May 17: The EDO, education, Hyderabad, announced on Friday that under the elementary school merit scholarship scheme 2002, tests would be held at the already notified examination centres of Hyderabad District on Sunday.

SPSC: The secretary, Sindh Public Service Commission, announced on Friday that the commission had interviewed eligible candidates for the posts of system analyst-cum-programmer (BPS-18) in the finance department, Sindh, and for the post of assistant professor surgery (BPS-18) in the health department, Sindh, and found Miss Zakia Parveen Uqaili, daughter of Abdul Qayoom (rural), and Dr Sher M. Shaikh, son of Fateh M. Shaikh (rural) fit and suitable and, therefore, recommended their names for appointment against the said posts.
